- SSC pass and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in the Trade of Draughtsman in Mechanical Stream/Fitter/Structural Fitter, Fabricator/Pipe Fitter/Rigger/ Millwright Mechanic,Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance/Electronic,Mechanic/Painter/Machines(Grinder),Turner conducted by NCVT of the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India (S.No.1, 3,4,5,6,8,10,11,17 posts).
- Diploma Engineering passed in Mechanical, Electrical, & Electronics and SAP certificate is preferable (S.No.2 Posts).
- NAC in Millwright Mechanic or Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance and worked in MDL/ Shipbuilding Industry as a Compressor Attendant (S.No.7 posts).
- GP rating seaman certificate from the DG Shipping approved Institute (S.No.9 posts ).
- VIIIth Class pass and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in the trade of Carpenter/Welder,Welder (G&E) (S.No.12,13 posts).
- SSC with Indian Army class – I examination pass or Air Force and 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union (S.No.14 post).
- SSC pass and Diploma in Fire Fighting of from a Govt. recognized institute (S.No.15 posts).
- SSC with NAC in any trade and have worked in Shipbuilding industry (S.No.16 posts).
Age limit is maximum 33years as on 01/01/2014

PWD -10years
Contract Period : Two years.
Application fee belonging General/OBC categories Rs.100/- and SC/ST/PWD/Ex.SM payable fee is exempted.Fee paid through Bank Demand Draft in favor of Mazagon Dock Limited,( payable in Mumbai).
Short-listed candidates will be called for Interview followed by trade test.
