SSB Staff Selection Board ,Odisha Police Department has issued the Official Notification of Employment Recruitment for the post of 1370 Civil Constable posts Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to fill up of 1370 post of Civil Constables in the Dist. / Estts. / Police Commissionerate in prescribed form. The Reservation for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / S.E.B.C. / Ex-Serviceman / Sports Persons / Home Guards / Group”D” employees working in Police Department and Women candidates of the different categories shall be made in accordance with the provisions made under such Acts, Rules, Orders or instructions as issued by the Govt. from time to time. The number of post advertised may increase at any time So eligible Candidates are can Apply before on 31st January 2015.Physical measurement / Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted on 15th February 2015.
Examination fees :
For All General/ OBC Category Candidates are Examination fees Rs.150/-and also SC/ST Category Candidates are Exempted from Paying the Examination fees only towards examination fee in shape of Bank Draft / Postal Order. The Bank Draft / Postal Order shall be payable to the concerned Supdt. of Police of the Dist. and Dy.Commissioner of Police (Hqrs.), Bhubaneswar.
Age limit :
The Age limit between Minimum 18years to maximum 23years as on 01 January 2015. upper age is relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC & ST & Women candidates
Essential Education Qualification :
A candidate must have passed +2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognised Board / Council .
Medical test:
physical measurement test and there after at any stage of the recruitment process by the Medical Board. Candidate must not have knock knee, bow legs, flat foot, varicose veins, squint in eyes, poor vision, colour blindness, inability to flex the fingers properly and any other obvious deformities and should have no impediment in speech, and hearing.

SsP / Dy. Commissioner of Police (Hqrs.), Bhubaneswar.
