KVS Jammu Teacher Jobs Recruitment 2016
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangatham (KVS), Jammu, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, has issued a notification for the recruitment of 431 posts of PRTs/TGTs and PGTs on Part time Contract basis. The Eligible candidates may apply through online application website www.kvsrojummu.org on or before of the date 18th March 2016.
Important Dates:
- Last date of receipt of application in the Regional office 18th March 2016.
- Written Test / Interview /Class room Observation shall be conducted on 23rd March 2016 to 31st March 2016.

Educational Qualifications:
Primary Teachers
- Senior Secondary School Certificate/+2/inter with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent with JBT.
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Knowledge in Computer applications Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
Trained Graduate Teacher
- Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate with B.Ed.
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium. Knowledge of Computer applications.
Post Graduate Teacher
- Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
- Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects.
- PGT (English) - English, PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level. PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
- B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University.
- ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation. 2. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
Age Limit:
The candidate’s Upper age limit as on 31.3.2016 between 18 to 65 years age candidates are applicable.
Pay Scale:
The Institute is fixed for the consolidated monthly payment
