Ministry of Defence, Govt.of India has issued a Notification for the Recruitment of the post Tradesman Mate, MTS, Fireman, LDC, and Material Assistant. Educational Qualifications:

Tradesman Mate

• Matriculation Pass.
• Must pass Physical Tests/Endurance Tests, Written Tests and Interview.
• Knowledge of Hindi desirable.

MTS (Safaiwala)

• Matriculation Pass.
• Must pass Physical Tests/Endurance Tests, Written Tests and Interview.

Fireman

• Matriculation Pass.
• Physical measurements (qualifying) height without shoes- 165 cms and concession of 2.5 cms for ST candidates.
• Chest (un expanded) – 81.5cm
• Chest (Expanded) – 85cms. (d) Weight 50 Kg.

LDC

• 10+2 pass from a recognised Board or University.
• Must have a speed of 35 words per minute in English Typing or 30 words per minute in Hindi Typing on Computer.

Material Assistant

Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any Discipline from any recognized Institution.

Pay Scale:

The Institute is fixed for the basic pay is Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- plus allowances.

Selection Mode:

The Maximum marks Duration Remarks General Intelligence and Reasoning 25 marks, the standards of questions will be of Matriculation/Intermediate/Graduate level as applicable, Numerical aptitude 25 marks, General English 50 marks, General Awareness 50 marks.
