- B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Engineering/Information Technology (OR)
- Special Diploma Course in Electronics with specialization in Computer Engineering (OR)
- Special Diploma Course in Electronics with specialization in Communication Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (OR) Graduation in Electronics
- Recommended Age of 21-25 years as on 01.07.2016.Age relaxable for SC/ST/BC/Telangana State Government (Employees of TSTRANSCO, Discoms, TSGENCO, State Road Transport Corporation and other Telangana State Corporations, Municipalities, Local bodies, public sector undertakings-5 years,who has service on Army, Navy or Air Force of the Indian Union/retrenched temporary employee in the State Census Department-3 years,ivorced women/Judicially seperated from husband preferable.

Selection Method :
- Preliminary Written Test-Technical Paper (objective type questions)-200 marks
- Physical Measurements Test –Height –162 cms (Male), 152.5 cms (Female), Chest (Inspiration-84 cms, Expansion – 04 cms)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)-100 metres run/15 seconds, Long jump-3.80 meters, Shot put (7.26 Kgs)-5.60 meteres, High jump-1.20 meters, 800 metres run –170 seconds.

Fee Details :
Candidates of OC/BC Categories have to pay fee Rs.500/- and the SC/ST categories – Rs.250/- in the form of any of the branches of TS(AP)- Online / Mee-Seva / E-Seva / Credit or Debit Card / Net Banking system.
