Education Qualifications :
- 10+2 Standard Examination pass in any discipline (Grade pay Rs.1900/-)
- 10th Standard Pass and ITI in any Trade from recognized Institution.
- should be a President’s Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) and five years work an active member of a Scouts Organization/attended two events at National level/All Indian Railways level and two events at State level.

Selection Process :
1. Written Test-40 objective Questions/40 marks , Essay related Scoute Guides Organization –10 marks
2. Scouting- Skill Assessment-10 marks
3. Marks on certificates -
- Participation/ Service rendered in National Events/ National Jamboree –10 marks,
- Participation/ Service rendered in State Events/Rallies-10 marks
- Specialized Scout/Guides course organized at National/ State/ All Indian Railways level-10 marks
- Participation in District Rallies- 10 marks
Application Fee Details :
An application fee Rs.100/- for General/OBC categories and no fee applicable belonging SC/ST/PH/Women/Women, Minority candidates.Payment made through Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favor of FA & CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works.
